My Home in McIntosh, FL

March 24, 2011
One more night, camping at my house. Goodbye house. I'll always have fond memories of the years it was a home with family, but no regrets. Now it is simply a house. Roe says, "Let's go!"

And hello to full-time RVing where my home is on wheels, and God's grace is revealed with new light daily for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. This will be my view of His world for the next two weeks. My site faces east, and I can't wait to see the daily sunrise.

Roe and I spent the afternoon birdwatching.
I can see that the bird guide will get dogeared while I'm here. Wish Birdie was here...easier to ask her.
I think this is a Glossy Ibis...
....having a bad hair day.
Left to right: Snowy Egret, a pair of Tri-colored herons, and a Glossy Ibis.
Sand Hill Cranes flying over.
Lots of Coots
We walked through town to let friends know we were here, and friends Marge and Dick invited me to dinner. Yum!
On the way home, we passed by another friend's (Dorothy) house with her beautiful flowery yard.
Back at the lake, there were more birds to watch as the evening colors faded.
A Great Blue Heron at eventide.
With a little friend.
Good night...
"Mine eyes anticipate the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word." (Psalm 119:148)
